Community Guidelines
Version: 1.0 · Effective: 2026-10-15
YourScene is for finding and sharing what's happening in your city: events, nights out, watch parties and the people who make them. These guidelines apply to everything on YourScene: profiles, events, Pulse posts, clips and stories, live broadcasts, comments, direct messages, curated lists, and organizer and venue pages. They are part of our Terms of Use.
Be real
- Use your own identity. Don't impersonate people, venues, organizers or brands.
- List real events with accurate times, places, prices and lineups. Don't post fake, duplicate or bait events.
- Curated lists should reflect genuine picks. Disclose paid or sponsored placement.
- Only claim an organizer or venue page you are authorized to represent.
Respect people
- No harassment, bullying, threats, stalking or doxxing.
- No hate speech or attacks on people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sexual orientation, sex, gender identity, disability, serious illness or immigration status.
- Don't film or stream people where they expect privacy, and respect people who ask not to be filmed.
- Don't share someone's private information, including their location or which events they attend, without their permission.
Keep it safe
- Never post content that sexualizes minors, or try to contact a minor for sexual purposes. See our Child Safety Standards.
- No sexually explicit content, and no intimate images shared without consent.
- No content that promotes violence, terrorism, self-harm or dangerous challenges.
- Don't sell or promote illegal drugs, weapons or other regulated goods, and don't promote events that are illegal or unsafe.
- Respect event age limits. Don't encourage underage drinking or entry.
No scams or spam
- No ticket fraud, fake resale, phishing, or requests for payment outside a legitimate ticket seller.
- No spam, mass unsolicited messages, fake engagement or misleading links.
Respect creators
Only post photos, videos, music and artwork you made or have permission to share. See the copyright section of our Terms of Use.
Reporting and blocking
- Use the Report option on a profile, event, post, clip, comment or conversation.
- Block or mute anyone from their profile. Manage blocked users in Profile → Settings → Legal & Privacy → Privacy Settings.
- For urgent safety issues or anything involving a child, also email support@yourscene.app. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
What we do
We review reports and may remove content, hide events, limit features, or suspend or permanently ban accounts. Serious violations, including any child sexual exploitation, lead to a permanent ban and, where the law requires, a report to authorities. If you think we got it wrong, contact support@yourscene.app.
